The TCRES deals with all the aspects of electronics, control, communications, instrumentation, and computational intelligence for the research, development, enhancement of industrial and manufacturing systems and processes related to the employment of renewable energy sources, taking into account the sustainable development of such a technologies.
Topics addressed by this TC include stand-alone and/or grid-connected systems, modeling and simulation, control, fault detection and diagnosis of power plants converting green energies into electricity or into other forms of energy. The range of applications is broad and includes systems for signal processing, instrumentation, measurement and testing, sensors and actuators dedicated to renewable energy systems.
The main goals of this TC are to encourage, organize and support the activities of the researchers operating in this area of expertise and to stimulate contacts with similar TC’s of sister Societies, and to establish links with and between Industry and Academia to impulse Renewable Energy Systems.
Topics will include but are not limited to:
Energy generation
Green energy storage systems
Renewable Energy electrical grid integration & distribution
